hellos, once again.
yesterday, went to the netball nations cup09.
saw some teams play against each other.
am too lazy to upload the pics now but will do so when i have the time to.
bought a little netball stressball and a screen wiper keychain thing.
these are the six teams playing in the competition.
1. Singapore (ranked no. 15 in the world)
2.Canada (ranked no.21 in the world)
3.Northern Ireland(ranked no.19 in the world)
4.Malaysia(ranked no.20 in the world.)
5.Scotland(ranked no. 13 in the world.)
6. Tanzania (replacing the Cook Islands.)
yesterday, sat through 3 games.
1st- Nothern Islands vs. Malaysia (northern islands won)
2nd- Canada vs. Tanzania(Tanzania won)
3rd- Singapore vs. Scotland(Scotland won.)
the last match was really well fought.
singapore lost 28-33.
the scores were the same for the 2nd quarter and 3rd quarter.
the whole stadium was cheering for singapore.
except for two girls infront of us who were screaming for scotland.
and another two who were with their mother.
they were so... odd.
people were actually staring at them.
everybody was shouting TEAM S and clapping twice.
but that doesn't make any sense as Scotland also begins with the letter S.
so who were the singaporeans cheering for, Scotland or Singapore?
