lifted from the 1F class blog:

An essay I did

Fair? I have not really seen the existence of this word yet.But before you say anything about this, allow me to continue.

It is the YOG Sports Carnival. My Captain's Ball team anticipated to play against other teams.Take my word,we did not plan anything to foul play.We had teamwork that led us all the way.Everything was smooth-sailing for us till the match with a particular class.Problems surfaced.

They caused my team member to injure her leg.She beared the pain till the end of the match and went crying in the toilet. She said when she fought for the ball, a guy from behind pushed her forward, causing her to injure her leg.I wanted to tell one of the teacher-in-charge but was stopped by someone I forgot who.I regretted a lot. That made them get their way.

I was really angry despite winning them.We rematched later in the finals.Other classes knew that they foul play too. All,but no one stood up and confronted them.Time was ticking away.

Players cheat for a reason. They want the championship, that's all.So their value is just a 1st place medal.Nothing more. They came all the way to the finals.Just to win. They really wanted the championship.I can tell, from the weeks of trainings that made them really good but they wanted to secure the title by cheating. To them, winning is a desire. To us,whether we win or not does not really matter. It is important that we have fun.But not cheating.Teachers teach us values and lessons to learn. To live without cheating. To live an honest life.I despise them.

They won eventually.Spectators knew that they cheated at times. But no one stood up.I choked with emotions.

If justice is served, why did they even win in the first place? It is as though the word'Fair' never existed. As a sports player sometimes you have to tit for tat when competiting. Having sportsmanship does not guarantee one's success. In order to win, people resort to underhand means. Then we have to leave it to fate.Surely we can complain but they are not foolish enough for us to catch them red-handed.If you were me,your coach wants you to win,but on the other hand your opponent cheats and wins, you would certainly feel helpless. How would you handle the situation?Cheating may not be the correct solution to the problem but I say that sometimes we have to use it.I am trying to be fair to myself.

I am in the com lab with Gina now, and some players from 1C are behind me. They never say anything.Because they were surfing the Net and Eating chips at the same time. They talked about us.About Shi Jie too.Sore losers.
